I hope you meant 10ft cubes (1000 cu ft) and not actually 10 cu ft. Because that is a tiny fortress. 10 cu ft is not enough for small room (if all sides of a cube whose volume is 10 cu ft are equal then each side is about 2.15ft long. A decent chest, but not a room.)
