A material invented by the [[Technomancer (3.5e Prestige Class)|Technomancer]] Claire Loraine Watson, chromium is a extremely reflective material to the point of being very mirror-like, granting it  an appearance very similar to natural chromium but slightly lighter in tone. It is an extremely difficult material to produce, formed from natural chromium, [[Silver, Alchemically-Inverse (3.5e Equipment)|Alchemically-Inverse Silver]], [[Mercurite Alloy (3.5e Equipment)|Mercurite Alloy]], [[SRD:Mithral|Mithral]], [[Vitalized Livemetal (3.5e Equipment)|Vitalized Livemetal]] alongside a sliver of [[Vibrolithe (3.5e Equipment)|Vibrolithe]]. Chromium self repair at the rate of 1 hp of damage each minute, even if sundered and destroyed, the pieces can be pushed back together for 3d6 rounds to reform the item as well as restoring any magical properties it possessed.

An armor and shields made of chromium possess great hardness, flexibility and incredible reflective abilities, it is capable of bending and reflecting kinetic energy with extreme efficiency, making it a very protective material. A chromium armor or shield has it armor/shield bonus increase by 2 points, has it armor check penalty reduced by 2 and it max dexterity bonus increase 1. The reflective surface of chromium make it extremely efficient against [light]-effect, granting a +4 bonus against [light]-effect and reducing any light damage taken by the wearer's armor bonus to AC. However half of the prevented damage is dealt to all creature within 10 ft. of the wearer. as the light energy is reflected off the chromium. 

A chromium weapon count as adamantine and silver for the purpose of bypassing damage reduction and it impacts carry a powerful force, melee weapon or ammunition made of chromium deal  an additional 5 points of damage. On a natural 20 a chromium weapon unleash a shockwave of energy, forcing the struck creature to make a DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + attack ability score modifier (usually [[Dexterity]]) [[Reflex]] save or fall [[SRD:Prone|prone]]. Even on a successful save, they take a −2 penalty to AC for 1 round from being knocked off center.

Alchemical Chromium has 60 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 30. 

Alchemical Chromium quarters all acid, cold, fire, electric and force damage, takes half damage from sonic. Chromium is nigh immune to physical damage, quartering it and doubling it hardness against it. It is completely immune to light damage.
