===Special summoning===

The Right Hand of Darkness refuses to be bound at the same time as the [[Left Hand of Darkness]].  However there are rumors that through the creation of a [[special pair of gauntlets]] one could wield the powers of the right and left hands of darkness at the same time.

===Manifestation===

The binder's right hand spasms violently in pain and a black spot of scorched flesh grows from the binder's palm.  From the wound black ichor bleeds out, spreading along the ground and staining everything black in a 10 ft radius.  As the air dims around him a demonic armored figure claws its way out of the darkness below and will not release the binder until they reject them or they bow in submission.  With the act of bowing, the pact is made, and the darkness evaporates into the aether.

The binder's right hand appears to be scorched black, lit with dull embers.

The binder desires power and influence over others, and is more willing to go to any length to achieve their goals.  You have a broad view of things, perhaps at the loss of your concern for the individual.

===Granted Abilities===

====Aura Shackle====

You can target a creature within 60 ft and force a [[Will]] save, save negates.  On a failed save, the creature is unable to benefit from any beneficial status effects, nor easily cure current status effects for 1 minute.  Pre-existing beneficial status effects are unaffected.  Attempts to cure a pre-existing status effect forces a caster level check against DC 15 + caster level.

This is considered a curse and can only be removed by effects which remove curses.

====Black Hand of Spite====

As a 1 standard action you can summon a floating black claw that duplicates the effects of ''[[SRD:Grasping Hand|grasping hand]]'' with a duration of your entire bind.  If the claw is destroyed you must wait 5 rounds before you can resummon it.

By taking a standard action to focus on the hand you may attack with it, duplicating the effect of ''[[SRD:Vampiric Touch|vampiric touch]]''.  The temporary hp can apply either to the hand or yourself.

====Curse of Black Miasma====

If you begin an encounter with over 50% hp and are dropped to 50% hp or less, you release a burst of dark miasma in retribution.  The miasma fills a 20 ft radius centered on you and provides total concealment, though you can see through it just fine and it cannot harm you.  Creatures within take 2 points of unholy damage per HD you possess and must make a [[Fortitude]] save against ''[[SRD:Poison|poison]]'' and a [[Will]] save against ''[[SRD:Confusion|confusion]]'' (duration 5 rounds).  The cloud hangs around for 5 rounds afterward dealing damage, but no longer carrying the poison and confusion effects.

You can exclude allies from the damage, poison, and confusion on the initial burst, but they will be effected in subsequent rounds unless they move out of the way.  You can choose to suppress this ability if you wish.

====Rage of the Abyss====

You open a gateway into the abyssal furnace, releasing dozens of towers of black flame in the area.  As a 1 round action you can deal 1d6 points of half fire and half unholy damage/level in a 20 ft radius centered on yourself, with a [[Reflex]] save for half.  You can exclude allies from this attack.  The raging flames do not affect objects or terrain and ignores cover (but not total cover).

You can charge up the power of the attack.  For each additional round you spend, the radius increases by 20 ft to a maximum of 100 ft after 5 rounds.

You can use this once every 5 rounds. 

====See in Darkness and Smoke====

You can see through darkness as a [[SRD:Devil|devil]] and see through fog and smoke as if under a constant [[See Through Fog (3.5e Spell)|see through fog]]'' spell.
