A long and elegant curved blade, excellent for mounted combat and often heavily decorated. These weapons are often use as ceremonial weapons by officers. It can be used as a [[SRD:Longsword|longsword]] with those without the exotic weapon proficiency feat.

When used while mounted by a user with the exotic weapon proficiency, the wielder add her [[Strength]] and a half with attacks made with the cavalry sabre while wielding it with one-hand. If used by a wielder with exotic weapon proficiency, mounted charge attack made with a cavalry sabre deal double damage (and benefits from [[SRD:Spirited Charge|Spirited Charge]] as a [[SRD:Lance|lance]]).
