A hellfire warpspitter is a short tube of metal attached to a wooden stock, designed to be held in one hand. It is inscribed with potent magical runes, and has a trigger mechanism to release a bolt of hellfire energy to a huge distance.

A hellfire warpspitter deals fire damage, but this damage ignores one point of fire resistance per character level (or CR) of the user, and treats fire immunity as resistance equal to 1/2 of the damage it would deal. Additionally, hellfire warpspitters add their user's Dexterity modifier to damage rolls (but cannot do so more than once). Hellfire warpspitters reload themselves, requiring no action on the part of the user, and don't need ammunition.
