A small pendant, jewel or other device, usually attached to a string. This item is used by it user to put others in deep hypnotic trance. If the user of a Hypnotic Enhancer would make a creature [[SRD:Fascinated|Fascinated]] it become [[Hypnotized (3.5e Condition)|Hypnotized]] instead. If the effect allow the wearer to make a request, it does not need to be reasonable, although it cannot be harmful nor against the target's nature.

If an effect caused the target to become [[Hypnotized (3.5e Condition)|Hypnotized]] already, it DC increase by 2 and a further 2 for the purpose of breaking the effect beyond the initial roll. This secondary increase function on slippery mind, saving throw rerolls and when the effect is being broken by attacking and such.
