Its cursed effect then kicks in, reducing all movement speeds to 5 ft (even if under the effect of a speed boosting spell).  On the other hand, the user gains a +4 dodge bonus to AC as long as they are not flanked.  This AC bonus is lost if they are flanked.

The crown cannot be removed until ''[[SRD:Remove Curse|remove curse]]'' or greater effects are cast on the crown.
