The armor appears as a large metallic belt which cover the belly, the hips, and the two legs. The frame is made of light metal, and over it, there is a layer of fabric, and a set of armored plates.

The Heavy Leg Warmers cannot be worn with other armor, but can be worn with [[Arm Guard (3.5e Equipment)|Arm Guard]]. In this case, it armor bonus stacks with the [[Arm Guard (3.5e Equipment)|Arm Guard]]'s armor bonus. When worn with an [[Arm Guard (3.5e Equipment)|Arm Guard]], stack the both [[SRD:Armor Qualities#Armor Check Penalty|Armor Check Penalties]] and the both [[SRD:Armor Qualities#Arcane Spell Failure|Arcane Spell Failure]], but apply the lowest [[SRD:Armor Qualities#Maximum Dex Bonus|Maximum Dex Bonus]]. 

[[Arm Guard (3.5e Equipment)|Arm Guard]] and Heavy Leg Warmers used together can by enchanted separately but similar effects don't stack.

<b>Stability</b> : The Heavy Leg Warmers are heavy and massive, and the wearer gains a +4 bonus on ability checks made to resist being bull rushed or tripped when standing on the ground (but not when climbing, flying, riding, or otherwise not standing firmly on the ground).
