By blowing across the top of the ring as a standard action it emits a loud shrill noise identical to the audible version of ''[[SRD:Alarm|alarm]]''.  They can also use a standard action to emit a bolt of light upward and display any one of sixteen glowing patterns up to 150 ft in the air, identical to ''[[SRD:Dancing Lights|dancing lights]]'', which hangs in the air for 1 minute.  As a full round action you can activate both functions at the same time.
