This +3 [[SRD:Unholy|Unholy]] [[Infernal Wound (3.5e Equipment)|Infernal Wound]] [[Tome of Necromancy (3.5e Sourcebook)/New Rules#Black Steel|Black Steel]] [[SRD:Bastard Sword|Bastard Sword]] is a great tool of evil, especially in the hand of a dark paladin or blackguard. Firstly whenever the wielder kill a creature with Int 3 or greater with the Apocalyptic Blade, she heal 1 point of [[Wisdom]] [[SRD:Ability Drain|Drain]] inflicted by the Black Steel's quality, but not any other source of wisdom drain. 

If a creature with Int 3 or higher is slain by an Apocalyptic Blade, it soul is drawn into the blade where it remain until the blade is sundered, consumed or the soul is freed as a standard action. An Apocalyptic Blade can hold an unlimited amount of souls, although none of a CR of 11 or higher. As a free action, the wielder may destroy one of the soul inside the blade as a standard action to regain a use of ''smite good''. A creature who soul is trapped or destroyed require a [[SRD:Limited Wish|''limited wish'']] or stronger effect prior to the resurrection, freeing or restoring the soul.

If the wearer possess the ''deadly touch'', ''draining hands'' or ''touch of corruption'' class features, it may be channeled through the blade, making a regular attack with the weapon as a standard action and delivering the touch on a successful hit.

Prerequisites: [[SRD:Craft Magic Arms and Armor|Craft Magic Arms and Armor]], [[SRD:Unholy Blight|''unholy blight'']], [[SRD:Corrupt Weapon|''corrupt weapon'']], crafter must be a fiend of have the Aura of Evil class feature.<br/>
