This is a ''throwing battleaxe +1''.  It seems to work fine, until it is first thrown.  Instead of throwing the battleaxe, it throws the user the intended distance who lands in the square, taking falling damage, with a DC 15 Balance check to avoid landing prone.  The axe remains where it is and falls to the ground 1 round later.
