On its own this glove does nothing itself other than empower energy effects channeled through it.  Any weapon wielded in that hand or weapon-like spell projected from the hand that deals acid, cold, electric, fire, or sonic damage deals an additional +1 damage per damage die.  This damage bonus applies to the energy effect of the rings as well.

It's true power is matched when paired with the elemental [[Elemental Chimeband (3.5e Equipment)‎|chimeband]], [[Elemental Combustband (3.5e Equipment)‎|combustband]], [[Elemental Rimeband (3.5e Equipment)‎|rimeband]], [[Elemental Sizzleband (3.5e Equipment)‎|sizzleband]], and [[Elemental Shockband (3.5e Equipment)‎|shockband]].  All five rings can be donned in a single ring slot with this glove, and it augments the rings in the following ways.

*The energy resistance granted by each ring rises to 10.
*The extra energy damage on attacks now deal +1d10 extra damage on a x2 critical, +2d10 on a x3, and +3d10 on a x4.  Sonic damage deals d8s.
*Spells of the appropriate energy types now have +1 DC.

Once per day you can summon a surge of power from the ring, producing damage of the appropriate elemental type in a 120 ft line or 60 ft cone that deals 1d6 damage per level (1d4 for sonic) with a [[Reflex]] save for half.  The DC is 10 + 1/2 HD + your highest mental ability modifier.  This is a supernatural ability and does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

If you have all five rings, you gain an additional once per day blast that takes a 1 round action and provokes attacks of opportunity, but deals all five blast effects in a single line or cone at the same time with a single saving throw among them.  Once you have used this all five rings burn out and cease function for 5 days.

While not an artifact, this item is known to many creatures of the elemental type.  Possessing an glove with an appropriate ring or all five rings provides a modicum of respect, with a +2 and +6 (all rings) bonus on charisma checks against aforementioned elemental spirits.
