Named for the naiad who developed the spell, ''Galea's reverse merform'' is basically what you'd expect if ''[[Merform (3.5e Spell)|merform]]'' got [[Misspell (3.5e Spell)|misspelled]]''.

When touched, the target must make a [[SRD:Saving Throw#Fortitude|Fortitude]] save or gain the effects of the [[Animal Head (3.5e Flaw)|Animal Head]] flaw (with no bonus feat), taking on the features of a fish, as well as have any arms or forelimbs shrivel into fins, dropping any held equipment. Such an afflicted creature can breathe underwater (as well as air if it could before) and gains a +4 bonus on [[SRD:Swim Skill|Swim]] checks, but suffers a –4 penalty to [[SRD:Grapple|grapple]] checks.
