A beautiful red jewel, usually slotted inside a magical weapon or wondrous item. If the jewel or the item whose it is slotted in is in possession of a creature for 24 hours, it must make a DC 20 [[Will]] save each day or become permanently [[SRD:Fascinated|fascinated]] by it. The target is able to perform daily activities such as feeding, resting and for matter of survival can spend up to 6 hours a day not fascinated by the jewel in order to work to buy food or hunt for it. If the fascination is broken by a threat, it reestablish itself once the threat as been dealt with. While facsinated, the owner's alignment change to chaotic evil, this do not cause any permanent loss of code of conduct or class features.

If the jewel is stolen or lost, the owner will stop at nothing to recover it for the next week. After which she is free from it compulsion. A [[SRD:Remove Curse|''remove curse'']] or stronger effect free the  creature from any compulsion caused by the jewel. Even if the owner is not under compulsion currently, it must make a DC 25 [[Will]] save to discard the jewel in any way, shape or form.
