[[Summary::Krytoplasm is a strange blue viscous liquid, created by a cabal of insane scientist to uplift human it instead turn them into monster.]] Active krytoplasm is pale blue in color and glow softly (as the [[SRD:Light|''light'']] spell), it is radioactive, each 5 pounds radiating as a [[Refined Darklight Rod (3.5e Equipment)|refined darklight rod]]. Krytoplams is highly acidic, any creature coming in direct contact krytoplasm take 1d10 damages, half of which is acid and the other half is typeless. Total submersion in krytoplasm deal 10d10 damages and start the mutation progress (see below).   

The true danger of krytoplasm is how it interact with the biology of most living creatures, any creatures ingesting (or having it injected in their vein) active krytoplasm will start mutating. Over the course of an hour, the creature will start experiencing extreme pain and will need to make a DC 20 fortitude save each hour thereafter or fall [[SRD:Unconscious|unconscious]] until the mutating process is over. After 24 hours without aid the creature become a full [[Krytoplasm Mutant (3.5e Template)|krytoplasm mutant]], creatures with more than 4 hit dices are allowed a DC 20 fort save at the end of the 24 hour period to negate the mutation. Krytoplasm mutation is treated as disease, however creature immune to disease are not immune to the effect of krytoplasm but receive a +4 bonus against it. 

Krytoplasm is almost impossibly difficult to create, requiring many extremely rare ingredients. Active krytoplasm have a half life of 24 hours, this mean half of the active krytoplasm will become inert every day until none remain. Inert Krytoplasm is simply acidic, sticky and will solidify and crumble into dust within 1d4 rounds. 

Active krytoplasm radiate [[Nitrion (3.5e Equipment)|nitrion]] particles, causing [[Idylean Young God (3.5e Template)|young gods]] to become [[SRD:Nauseated|nauseated]] if they come in direct contact with it and one minute after. 

The market price given is for a stasis pod containing 10 pounds of krytoplasm, once opened the pod cannot be closed making it useless junk. Krytoplasm cannot be crafted because the ingredient required for it creation are extremely rare and many are impossible to acquire through magic.
