|benefit=As a [[SRD:Swift Actions|swift action]] while [[Grim (3.5e Class)#Grim Transformation|transformed]], you may generate a bursting flare of light in a 30 foot radius centered on yourself. All creatures caught in the radius must make a [[SRD:Fortitude|Fortitude]] [[SRD:Saving Throw|save]] ([[SRD:DC|DC]] 10 + ½ your grim levels + your key mental ability modifier) or become [[SRD:Dazzled|dazzled]] for 1 minute and [[SRD:Blinded|blinded]] against you until the end of your turn. A dazzled creature is unable to see well because of overstimulation of the eyes, taking a –1 penalty on [[SRD:Attack Roll|attack rolls]], [[SRD:Search Skill|Search checks]], and [[SRD:Spot Skill|Spot checks]].
|special=Sightless creatures, are not affected by this ability. Creatures with light weakness or that are harmed by light are instead [[SRD:Blinded|Blinded]] for 1 round and take double the penalty of [[SRD:Dazzled|dazzled]] for 1 minute on a failure.
