When the target dies, you experience a +8 morale bonus on attack rolls, damage, saving throws, ability checks, and skill checks for 1 round and the spell is discharged.

Intrinsic mental safeguards prevent the spellcaster from targeting themselves, though the spell may be reflected with ''[[SRD:Spell Turning|spell turning]]'' and similar effects.
