As part of initiating this counter, make an attack against a flat-footed creature. If the attack hits, instead of damaging the target, it instead damages the target clothes or armor. If the attack is able to deal at least 1 damage to the target’s armor or clothes (accounting for its hardness), instead of further damaging it it sever an important strap, belt or similar item. The target is allowed a [[Reflex]] to catch her falling clothes and armor.

On a failed save the target is considered to have donned their armor hastily until it can be properly donned again, and they are [[SRD:Entangled|entangled]] by their own falling clothes and armor until they can use a standard action to somewhat adjust them. A successful save negated the entanglement , and the target only counts as having donned their armor hastily for 1 round.

At the GM’s discretion, if the loss of armor or clothes would cause a state of undress, then the initiator can immediately make a [[SRD:Bluff Skill|Bluff]] check to [[SRD:Hide Skill|create  a diversion to hide]], with a +4 circumstance bonus. If the target was particularly attractive, then the bonus increases to +8.
