===Jack of All Trades===
Starting at 1st level, you can add half your proficiency bonus, rounded down, to any {{srd5lc|Ability Check}} you make that doesn’t already include your {{srd5lc|Proficiency Bonus}}.

===Spellcasting===
You have stumbled upon how to tap into magic. As your levels increase you gain greater understanding of how to do this.

====Cantrips====
You know two [[SRD5:Cantrip|cantrip]]s of your choice from all [[SRD5:Spell Lists|spell lists]],  list. You learn additional cantrips of your choice at higher levels, as shown in the Cantrips Known column of the Bard table. 

====Spell Slots====
The Jack-of-all-trades table shows how many [[SRD5:Spell Slot|spell slot]]s you have to cast your [[SRD5:Spell|spell]]s of 1st [[SRD5:Spell Level|level]] and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a [[SRD5:Long Rest|long rest]]. 

For example, if you know the 1st-level spell ''[[SRD5:Cure Wounds|cure wounds]]'' and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast cure wounds using either slot. 

====Spells Known of 1st Level and Higher====
At 2nd level, you know two 1st-level spells of your choice from all spell lists. 

The Spells Known column of the Jack-of-all-trades table shows when you learn more spells of your choice. Each of these spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots, as shown on the table. For instance, when you reach 3rd level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level. 

Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the spells you know and replace it with another spell from the spell list, which also must be of a level for which you have spell slots. 

====Spellcasting Ability====
You choose either {{SRD5|Intelligence}}, {{SRD5|Wisdom}}, or {{SRD5|Charisma}} as your [[SRD5:Spellcasting Ability|spellcasting ability]] for your spells. In addition, you use your spellcasting modifier when setting the [[SRD5:Saving Throw|saving throw]] [[SRD5:DC|DC]] for a spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

===New Skill===
Starting at 2nd level and every other level afterwards, you gain {{srd5lc|Proficiency}} in a {{srd5lc|Skill}} in which you do not already have proficiency. 

===Resistance===
Starting at 2nd level you gain resistance to one {{srd5lc|Damage Type}} not caused by a magic weapon. At later levels (indicated on the Overview Table), you gain additional resistances. 

===Armor Proficiency===
Starting at 4th level, you gain proficiency in {{srd5|Medium Armor}}. 

===Ability Score Improvement===
When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th level, you can increase one [[SRD5:Ability Score|ability score]] of your choice by 2, increase two ability scores of your choice by 1, or you can choose a {{srd5lc|Feat}}. As normal, you can’t increase an ability score above 20 using this feature. 

===Extra Attack===
Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the {{srd5lc|SRD5:Attack Action}} on your {{srd5lc|Turn}}.

===Weapon Proficiency===
Beginning at 6th level, you have proficiency in {{srd5lc|Martial Weapon}}s

===Evasion===
Beginning at 7th level, you can nimbly dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a [[SRD5:Red Dragon|red dragon]]’s fiery breath or an ''[[SRD5:Ice Storm|ice storm]]'' [[SRD5:Spell|spell]]. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a [[SRD5:Dexterity|Dexterity]] [[SRD5:Saving Throw|saving throw]] to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

==Bonus Feat==
Beginning at 9th level, you can choose a(or an additional) {{SRD5|Feat}} (see Player's Handbook for examples).

==Magic Resistance==
Beginning at 10th level, you gain {{srd5lc|Advantage}} against spells and spell-like effects. In addition, you gain resistance to any damage produced by a spell.
