Upon casting this spell, the caster experiences an instantaneous vision of the future. The spell typically forecasts an event in the coming 24 hours, but a longer time table is possible. The caster does not have control on the subject of the vision. The spell has a 70% + 1% per caster level, to a maximum of 90%, to give the caster a useful vision. On a failure the vision is of a meaningless event.

The vision is vague and incomplete, making little sense to the caster until the events of the vision start transpiring. Beside granting imperfect information, the vision allows the caster to know the event in the vision is about to occur 1 round before it normally would. This can allow the caster to avoid or mitigate a misfortune or capitalize on an opening by example.

While this spell effect is instantaneous, if it reveals useful information it will not give new information on a future casting until the event it predicted takes place. If the predicted event has not come to pass in the last 24 hours, this spell can be cast again for new information. After all, it is possible through the caster's action that they make the predicted event impossible.
