: One of the feat is static (Rapid Shot or Darkstalker) and not really good for any other fighter-level martial classes. The fighter is already way too specialized and need all his feats, the rogue would lower his sneak attack and others have no reasons to take this.  The two feats are nice, but I wouldn't call that a problem at all, you can't really break the game with it. I could see a martial rogue take a dip in the class, but that not a problem as the class still stand on it own (in a fighter level game anyway). --[[User:Leziad|Leziad]] 02:08, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Why wouldn't anybody dip in this in a fighter level game? Two bonus feats at level 1 is great for any fighter. Just dipping in at level one is great! Maybe this bonus feat could be given later? Dipping is a problem in this class.--75.40.72.247 02:01, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

One of the feat is static (Rapid Shot or Darkstalker) and not really good for any other fighter-level martial classes. The fighter is already way too specialized and need all his feats, the rogue would lower his sneak attack and others have no reasons to take this. The two feats are nice, but I wouldn't call that a problem at all, you can't really break the game with it. At 1st level the Volley True Archer gains the Rapid Shot feat, even if he does not qualify for it. The Sniper True Archer instead gains Darkstalker feat from Lords of Madness (Pg. 179), enabling him to hide from creature's alternate senses."
This is the ability gained at first level: the fighter just gains the bonus feat. By taking this then taking fighter, you get rapid fire and your normal bonus feat. AND a bonus to your will and reflex (you need this). All you lose is that fortitude bonus. Its just a great dip --75.40.72.247 12:14, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
