It makes sense (to me) when used in rituals, since that deals as much wish summoning and binding magical forces as any spellcasting. Since it's also a knowledge skill, i'm having trouble seeing it as Charisma based in that role though. A sorcerous person may shape magic through force of will, but i don't see it helping her much when trying to discern the nature of a constuct, for instance... unless she somehow snatches that knowledge from The Weave (or equivalent).
