Flying Shield Crystal[edit]
As the crystal snapped into place, ethereal wings could be faintly seen stretching forth from the edges of the shield.
Flying Shield Crystals can only be applied to shields.
- Least
You may release your shield as a swift action have have it animate as the special enhancement, floating beside you and allowing you to use both hands. You can return it to your grasp with another swift action, provided you have a hand free. The shield may remain animated for 5 rounds per day, split up however you wish.
- Lesser
As per the least version, but it remains animated for 10 rounds a day and when animated your shield bonus applies to your touch AC, as long as you are not flatfooted.
- Greater
This version works as per the lesser crystal, but it remains animated for 15 rounds a day. Your shield bonus always applies to your touch AC, even when not animated.
Strong transmutation; CL 12th; Craft Wondrous Item, animate objects; Price 2,500 gp (Least), 5,000 gp (Lesser), 12,500 gp (Greater).
