Speaker of the Sun[1][2] or Speaker of the Suns[3] (or even Speaker of Suns[4]) was the title given to the ruler of the elven nation of Qualinesti. The title was meant to continue their heritage as the Qualinesti had been apart nation of the Silvanesti whose leader was called Speaker of the Stars.[3] Kith-Kanan was pronounced the first speaker of the sun by his people when he created this new nation after the Kinslayer Wars. Traditionally the Speaker of the Sun wears yellow robes of office and the Sun Medallion, which cannot be taken off even by force unless the Speaker removes it himself.[citation needed]
