An insidious power which send both the manifester and the target into an astral mindscape for 1 round. The manifester has total and absolute power over the realm and use it to torment the target, the manifester can bend the rule of time and space and thus make the single round feel like centuries if she wishes. If the manifester torment the target she may inflict one or more of the following effect upon it:
- Make the target stunned for 1d4 minutes.
- Inflict one random major psychosis.
- Inflict two random minor psychosis.
- Make the target fanatical toward the manifester.
- Render the target catatonic and broken making them permanently helpless.
No matter what the target take 8 point of Ability Burn to all it mental ability score from the sheer stress upon it mind. The target is allowed a Will save, on a success she shrug off the attempt to drag her into mindscape. If she fail that save she is allowed another Will save, if she fail the manifester may learn any information that the target known through interrogation and mental probing.
Even if the manifester do not use this power for torment, it is taxing on the target and still take the 8 point of Ability Burn to all it mental ability score. Thus it is rarely used for anything but it intended purposes but technically can be.
If the power is successful but interrupted within the round both the manifester and target are in the mindscape, then the target simply take 4 point of Ability Burn to all it mental ability score. This can be done with a successful dispel attempt or a reality revision power.
The permanent effect of this power on the target can be reversed only by the use of either a psychic chirurgery or reality revision power.
Augment: For every 2 additional power points you spend, this power’s save DC increases by 1.
