Strategies and Tactics

Their 120 foot range increment on their rocks is substantial, and the damage they do is pretty scary if they can keep it up - so they will, if they can get away with it.

Otherwise, Hill Giants know well enough who the good targets are and will charge at the squishy guys on the other side. Overrun attacks allow them to overpower the meatheads who stand between them and their favourite targets. Some hill giants fight without armor just so they can swoop in and dispatch the most vulnerable targets more quickly.
