This spell cause ice to erupts from the ground and thrust upward in the form of spears made of ice. Each spears affect a single 5-ft square, dealing 4d6 cold and piercing damage to any creature occupying the square, a [[Reflex]] save halves the damage. If a creature takes up multiple squares, several spears may be aimed at it although the creature only need to make a single save against all spears from a single casting. If a creature is struct by a spear and fail it [[Reflex]] save, it fall [[SRD:Prone|Prone]].
A icicle spear is about 7 feet tall and occupy a single square, the square is considered difficult terrain and provide cover. The spear is made of ice and melt naturally, it has a hardness of 5 and 20 hit points. If a creature fall upon one of the spear, it take 4d6 cold and piercing damage in addition to any falling damage it would normally take.
