Woodland Knight

A woodland knight is a lionhearted protector, fighting with both sword and bow, to seek and fell strong and destructive foes. A woodland knight is almost always associated with a human community, and are often proper knights or royal hunters in the employ of a ruler. Some woodland knights may be knight errant, seeking to defeat her foes as an anonymous protector, or perhaps only for the sake of her glory. Unlike most rangers, a woodland knight is skilled in the use of heavy armor, and often mixes archery as well as melee attacks as their favored fighting style.

Class: Ranger

Level: 1st-20th

Replaces: Favored Enemy, Hunter's Bond, Spells, Evasion

Benefit: A woodland knight gain the following class features:

Secondary Combat Style (Ex): A woodland knight gains a second combat style at 4th level as well as a feat from that combat style, following the normal rules for combat style. She must choose archery as her secondary combat style, unless she previously chose archery at which point she may select any other combat style as her secondary combat style. Furthermore, when she would gain a combat style feat she may select from either her primary or secondary fighting style.

This ability replaces spells.
