A rivermaster gains Knowledge (nature) as a class skill for all its monk levels.
Flowing Style: A 1st level ludros rivermaster does not gain its bonus feat but gains the Flowing Style Monk feat for free. If it has the Water Bending racial feature, whenever it would gain a bonus feat it can choose also among feats related to its kineticist's powers. It also adds its unarmed strike damage and damage type to its Water Blast.
Liquid Mind (Ex): At 3rd level rivermasters don't gain the Still Mind feature but instead they gain the Slippery Mind feature of a rogue, which allows them to retry a failed Will save the next round to end the effect.
Rivershape (Su): Instead of gaining the Slow Fall feature, 4th level rivermasters gain the ability to replicate the effects of the watershape spell on themselves. The effect lasts only one round per monk level (or equivalent) per day and it uses its monk level for the purposes of caster level checks.
At level 8th it can retain the ability to speak (and is able to speak Aquan even if it does not know it), it counts as an elemental for the purpose of interacting with spells and effects, and become immune to poison, sleep, and paralysis.
At level 12th it can use a swift action to assume this form. At level 16th it can switch from liquid to solid form as a free action, retaining the remaining rounds for later use.
At 18th level it can attempt to drown creatures it grapples. Creatures it grapples must hold their breath or risk drowning. If it makes a successful grapple check while pinning a creature, it forces their mouth open and they begin to drown. It also deals its Water Blast damage with each successful grapple check (if it has the Water Bend feature, otherwise it uses its unarmed strike damage).
At level 20th it can use this ability an infinite number of times per day, though after the time is up it will return to its normal state and must wait for the next turn to use it again.
River Self: At 20th level, a rivermaster does not gain the Perfect Self feature. It's instead treated as an elemental with the Water subtype for the purpose of spells and magical effects. Additionally it gains damage reduction 10/-, darkvision in 60 feet (18 meters), immunity to poison, sleep effects, paralysis, stunning, critical hits and flanking. It does not need to eat, sleep or breathe. It also gains the Drench ability of an elder water elemental, using its monk level as caster level. Unlike other elementals, the rivermaster can still be brought back from the dead as if it were a member of its previous creature type.
