[[Summary::A simple board with two pairs of wheels mounted on it.]] A wheelboard can be used to move quickly, but at the risk of falling. A character on a wheelboard gains a +10 bonus to her land speed, but her speed is reduced by 10 if going uphill instead. A wheelboard must either be unattended or in your hand to be mounted.

However a wheelboard is not without it problems, any land speed made while mounted on a wheelboard have average maneuverability (as flight). This limitation get worse by one step if the creature has no ranks in [[SRD:Balance Skill|Balance]] and if you travel across difficult terrain, both are cumulative. Similarly it increase by one if you have 9 or more ranks in [[SRD:Balance Skill|Balance]] or if you travel over completely flat terrain, similarly both are cumulative.

A wheelboard can be mounted or can be dismounted and picked with the same action it take to draw a weapon, you may also dismount and abandon the wheelboard as a free action. A wheelboard can be disarmed like a weapon, causing the user to make a DC 20 [[SRD:Balance|Balance]] check or fall prone. Similarly if the user fall prone while riding a wheelboard she is no longer mounting it. Whenever the wheelboard is unmounted, it travel half the distance traveled this round away in the same direction you were move.

Wheelboard[edit]

A simple board with two pairs of wheels mounted on it. A wheelboard can be used to move quickly, but at the risk of falling. A character on a wheelboard gains a +10 bonus to her land speed, but her speed is reduced by 10 if going uphill instead. A character can mount or dismount a wheelboard as a move action, or as a free action with a DC 15 Tumble check. A wheelboard must either be unattended or in your hand to be mounted.

A character traversing difficult terrain on a wheelboard must succeed on a DC 15 Tumble or fall prone. This DC increases by 1 for each previous square of difficult terrain the rider has moved through that turn.

If the rider falls prone for any, it is automatically dismounted from her wheelboard. The wheelboard lands in a random adjacent square.

Last but not least, a wheelboard may be used as a Club.

Craft (Woodcrafting) DC 15. Market Price 300 gp; Weight: 3 lbs.
