Darkgate (3.5e Campaign Setting)/Pantheon

Religion and Deities

The people of Darkgate worship as many people do. The have three gods that are unique to Darkgate. They are known as the Three Grand Brothers, Newrok Shadowblade (3.5e Deity), Wodahs (3.5e Deity), and Rage (3.5e Deity). Few worship any of these gods as their patron deity, but almost everyone offers lip-service to Newrok Shadowblade or Wodahs. Many are terrified just by hearing Rage's name. Outside of these three gods, they worship the gods of any and all planets that they know of. The people of Darkgate are rare among the denizens Planes. The wizards have actually traveled to other planets. This is where almost all of the "True Gods" (actual deities that will grant spells and answer prayers) have come from.

Pantheons

There are also people known as Saints in the world of Darkgate. These are legendary people who have achieved some sort of renown in their field. Many also feel that they all are still alive. Many Saints are also related to each other. Newrok fathered James who fathered Wraith who fathered Demon. Wohdahs and Rage were created at the same time Newrok was. Finally, Oblvion is a planer clone of Newrok. Fate is the incarnation of Fate.

Saints

The following are the Saints of Darkgate. Each one is widely thought to still be alive. James (or at least some one using his name) has recently began publishing books on the history of Darkgate. No one has yet to find his actual location, however.
