Acrobatic Pokemaniac
For the Thief-Acrobat (Dungeonomicon) who wants a pokemon companion
Class: Thief-Acrobat
Level: 1, 5, optionally 7 and every odd level thereafter, optionally 16
Replaces: At levels one and five, you do not gain a Sneak Attack die. At other levels you can choose to swap different class features out.
Benefit: At level one, you gain a single Pokemon, along with the Control Pokemon and Train Pokemon abilities. Acrobatic Pokemasters typically choose Flying, Bug, Grass or Electric Type Pokemon.
At level five, you gain Increased Awareness and Heal Pokemon.
At levels seven and every two levels thereafter, you may grant your pokemon your Sneak Attack die instead of gaining it yourself.
At level twelve, when using Dedicated Evasion you may instead apply the benefits to your Pokemon.
At level thirteen, you may choose to give up the Sneak Attack die and Power Slide, and instead gain a second pokemon with a level equal to your primary one, though it must have Flying Pokemon Traits. You are now the Flying Gym Leader, and always count as having the Hurricane Badge. Crafting a new one takes an hour.
If you did take the second pokemon, then at level sixteen you may choose not to gain Death From Above, instead gaining a third pokemon - again, it must have Flying Pokemon Traits and is the same level as the other two. Your pokemon all gain Death From Above, even though you don't.
