Both tools and weapons, runehammers are stone +1 warhammers that have been magically hardened. A runehammer counts as being made of adamantine when advantageous, such as calculating its own hardness and hit point, and bypassing hardness and DR. Unlike most warhammers, a runehammer can be used as a tool for any tasks which require a hammer, which it grants bonus to as a Masterwork Tool.
The hammer is able to magically repair items once per day, as per make whole with a range of touch and a casting time of 10 minutes. The caster level of this effect is equal to the wielder's ranks in the relevant Craft skill, or the runehammer's caster level, whichever is higher.
Runehammers are often enhanced further as weapons, and many unique powerful runehammers exist.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, glyph of warding, stone shape, the crafter must use a piece of a meteorite worth 1,000 gp to craft the head of the hammer.
