Mercurite Wheelshoes

The gnomish wheelshoes were quickly adopted by gangs of rollerskating tricksters in more magically and technologically advanced human nations, one of such gang modified their pairs of wheelshoes with energy battery and mercurite alloy frames. They follow the normal rules for wheelshoes but with a few exception.

While wearing mercurite wheelshoes it wearer increase her charge or run distance by 10 feet, the wearer is also not slowed down when going up a slope (but not stairs) if she succeed a DC 20 tumble check. Mercurite wheelshoes count as magical and as a masterwork for tumble thanks to their extremely high quality.

Finally these wheelshoes can be powered by energy cells inserted at the back of the skate allowing them to turbo boost. As a free action once per round the wearer of a pairs of mercurite wheelshoes can increase her land speed by 10 feet, doing so consume 2 energy cells (1 in each wheelshoe). Each wheelshoe contain up to 25 energy cells, expended energy cells must be changed for new one, a process which require 5 minute of work. Using turbo boost can lead to the wheelshoes overheating if used too much, thus it can only be used each 1d4 round.

It is possible to use two fusion cells (on in each wheelshoes) instead of energy cells. Since fusion cells are much more powerful, they never need to be changed, providing enough energy to last for hundred of years.

If you have the hell on wheels, both natural slam attack granted by the fear count as being made of mercurite alloy (with all associated benefits).
