XK24 Assault System
A XK24 assault system attacks with laser guns, bombs and a force gun. By default, the XK24 system comes with two laser gun, a force gun, a shield of 30, and 100 laser, 10 bomb and 10 force gun ammo. Unless noted otherwise in a vehicle entry, all can be controlled by a gunner. However, it requires a full round action to switch between each gun system. See below for each sub-components features:
- Beam Weapon: The XK24 comes with a medium-sized beam weapon, which has two different firing modes (see page).
- Bombs: The XK24 comes with XK06 cell bombs. These can be dropped as attack actions and detonate on impact.
- Force Gun: The XK24 comes with a force gun, which can be fired as a full-round action (see page).
- Shields: The XK24 comes with the shield special ability, granting it a +3 deflection bonus and 30 extra HP; the shield regenerates 3 HP per round.
Craft (Xeno-): Creatures with the craft (xeno-weaponsmithing) skill can craft XK24s and their ammo.
