For the most part, rules for creating characters are the same as in standard 3.5 D&D, the only difference is that elves are taller then normal in Darkgate and use the following Height/Weight Tables
Male:
Base height: 5' 4" +2D12 inches
Base weight: 130 lbs. +2D4 pounds
Female:
Base height: 5' 2" +2D12 inches
Base weight: 100 lbs. +2D4 pounds
Half-elves use the standard 3.5 D&D height/weight table
