1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

Not big enough!

Hey, check out this greatsword. Pretty big, huh. Oh yeah, well look at this fullblade! It's even bigger! Well, now its beaten... behold... THE COMPENSATOR!

Everyone loves greatswords, and heroes always seemed to be getting bigger and bigger swords to the point of improbability. On the far end of that scale is the Gigas Blade, a massive slab of steel with a sharpened edge on the side and flat blunt tip. It's sheer weight adds bludgeoning during the slashing.

The gigas blade grants reach. Unlike most other weapons with reach, it can be used against an adjacent foe.

The gigas blade requires Str 15 to wield in the first place, with a -2 penalty on attack rolls. At Str 19, the penalty vanishes.

Because the gigas blade is so huge, the wielder takes a -4 penalty to Hide checks when equipped, and has a Max Dex +2 as if they were using a tower shield.
