I like the idea of making a less mundane version of mundane items, and this does that nicely while also placing spyglasses in the realm of affordability.
I don't buy the supply argument regarding their lack of replacement of spyglasses though, as that sort of thing would seem to price them higher than a spyglass rather than less (particularly given their increased utility). It doesn't detract from the like, but annoyed me enough to be worth mentioning here. Just use this as a replacement spyglass, call it good. |
