A character using a scope gain a +8 circumstance spot check but only when trying to spot a creature at least 40 feet away. A creature wielding a scoped weapon take no penalty from firing up to twice the weapon's range increment and all penalties beyond are reduced by 1. Additionally the range that you can inflict precision damage with a scoped weapon increase by 30'. Obviously a character only gain the benefits of a scope when wielding the scoped weapon.
