In SwordSharp the classes Remain nearly the same with some variations
Contents
Base classes
Artificer
Artificers are a combination of tinkerers and mages
Barbarians
Nothing changes with them that much except they typically join Druids guilds and organize attacks against corrupt countries
Bards
Bards are Typically traveling entertainers or they Entertain in one spot
Clerics
The foot soldiers of there gods, clerics often go on missions to advance there favor the god(s) which they worship, see them
Druids
Not much has changed with Druids except the fact they can use all simple weapons now
Fighters
Still foot soldiers
gunslinger
Masters of using guns, gunslingers are rare in this campaign just like how guns are rare
Monks
Still are monks
Paladins
the same
Psion
Harnessing the power of the mind. Psions could literally be described as a combination of wizards and monks, (use the stats of the mystic class from unearthed arcana)
Rouges
Rouges are still Rouges
Sorcerers
A little bit more common that in normal campaigns. Plus some Rich nobles hire fey creatures to touch their children
Warlocks
Nothing has changed
Warlords
Leading troops into battle is what a warlord does. Straight from 4e is the best class there is
Wizards
Mostly the same except for the fact they can ( if they are wearing no armor or using no mundane shield ) add the Intelligence bonus to there AC
prestige classes
In sword sharp prestige classes exist however leveling up with a prestige class is different
leveling up
Level one: 500 Xp
Level two: 1500 Xp
Level three: 4500 Xp
Level four: 9000 Xp
Level five: 20000 Xp
In order to level up in a prestige class you must meet the requirements of the prestige class. When you level up the exp is subtracted from your current exp (you can't level up is the subtraction is enough to make you lose a level)
