Weapon Splitter [Combat]
"Are you fighting with a stick? That sword's at least going to break like one."Prerequisites: Str 15
Benefits: This is a combat feat that scales with your Base Attack Bonus.
- +0: You gain the benefits of Improved Sunder. Additionally, you may ignore up to 2 hardness whenever you attempt a sunder check.
- +1: You gain a +4 on your sunder check. This stacks with the +4 bonus granted by Improved Sunder. You may ignore up to 5 hardness whenever you attempt a sunder check.
- +6: When you hit with your sunder attempt and the item does not break, you may attempt a second sunder on the same item as a free action, with a -8 penalty to hit. You may ignore up to 10 hardness whenever you attempt a sunder check.
- +11: If you are attacked with a melee weapon and missed, you may attempt a sunder check on the weapon as an attack of opportunity, subject to the standard restrictions on attacks of opportunity in a round. You may ignore up to 15 hardness whenever you attempt a sunder check.
- +16: Whenever you successfully sunder an item, the item bursts into deadly shrapnel, causing everyone within a 5 ft range to make a reflex save (DC 10 + half your BAB) to halve the damage. The wielder of the now broken item isn't allowed a reflex save. The damage is 1d4 per four points of damage your sunder check went over the remaining HP of the item you sundered. If your sunder check broke the item but did not exceed the item's remaining HP by over four, the damage is halved, with a successful reflex save further halving the damage. You are immune to the burst of shrapnel. You may ignore up to 20 hardness whenever you attempt a sunder check.
