If the chosen square is adjacent to the ceiling you may have the icicle fall at any point past the start of your next turn as a free action. Any creature directly below the square must make a [[Reflex]] save or take 2d6 points of cold damage and 2d6 points of piercing damage. If the target fail it [[Reflex]] save it is also [[SRD:Staggered|staggered]] for 1 round from the intense pain.
After this maneuver's duration elapses the icicles immediately melt. The duration of this maneuver is instantaneous if used in cold weather or cold environment. You cannot trigger the trap version after it original duration elapses however.
