You weave your arcane threads to simulate the mind of a psionic creature, and through channeling your powers via this matrix you too can become like a powerful psion. When casting this spell you study a psionic crystal you have prepared for 15 minutes. Beyond the 9th level slot used to cast this spell, you may convert any of your lower level slots into power points to fuel the powers you divine out of the crystal. You may learn any psionic power up to 7th level. A 1st level spell slot sacrificed nets you 1 PP, and the value goes up by 2 PP for each spell level afterward (up to a maximum of gaining 13 PP from a sacrificed 7th level slot). For each spell slot sacrificed, you may memorize an equal level power from your psionic crystal to add to your powers known (thus, if you sacrificed a 4th level slot you gain 7 PP and may choose to draw out schism from the crystal). For all purposes, your caster level is considered your manifester level and you may augment your powers up to that limit.
Powers remain known until you run out of power points, rest, or 24 hours pass, whichever comes first. For each power you attempt to learn from your psionic crystal, you must succeed on either a spellcraft or a psicraft check, DC 15 + the spell level. Failure results in the spell slot being lost with no power points granted, and the power is not learned (but you may try again). When manifesting your psionic powers you are not subject to arcane spell failure, but pay any other assocated costs (xp, focus, ability burn, etc) as normal.
Focus: A psionic crystal worth 15g, they start out empty. An arcane caster which knows this power may scribe powers into the crystal from any available source (such as from a psionic magic item or dojre), as if it were a wizard's spellbook, and paying any associated costs. Once scribed, powers remain inside the crystal and you may draw them out to make as your powers known when casting this spell.
