Academic Trauma

When studying a particular topic, something in your character's past inflicted trauma, which is now associated with that topic.

Prerequisite: Cannot have a feat which gives mastery to all knowledge categories; Must be taken at creation with a compatible background.

Effect: Choose one Knowledge or one Lore that is a class skill for you. Due to a traumatic experience in your past, you cannot use this skill. If anyone else rolls this particular Knowledge around you, you temporarily relive your suppressed traumatising memory and take 1d4 mental damage and become shaken for 1 minute (10 rounds.)

Benefit: Any bonus feat for which you meet the prerequisites.

Special: This drawback can only be taken once per character.
