How does this class survive at lower levels? No defensive or offensive options at level 1. Craft Monsters is quite expensive for lower leveled characters and surprise rounds would really suck for this class.
That speaking, if I can start at around 5th level, this class would be a blast to play.
- Level 1 does seem a bit weak, I suppose, but you only need 200 gold to make a creature of equivalent power level to yourself. Before you get that you can always try hitting your enemies with a stick or simply talking others out of their hard-earned money.
