Magical Blood

Count as a spellcaster, even though you aren't.

Benefit: You count as a spellcaster of your level, even if you have no spellcasting ability. This lets you qualify for prestige classes and feats, though they may not have a full use for you as you have no spellcasting to advance, and you have no spells on your class list known. You can choose if you count as arcane or divine.

Drawback: You count as a spellcaster even against things such as the MagebaneSpC enhancement. You show up with a faint magic aura of the universal school when scanned by detect magic. When struck by dispel magic, greater dispel magic, or antimagic field, you are sickened for 1 round.

Special: Feel free to expand this to cover alternative casting, such as psionics, incarnum, and the like.

Roleplaying Ideas: Maybe your parents were powerful mages and you simply didn't follow in their footsteps. Or perhaps this is what you get for drinking the magic tainted water running out of the potion shop. You feel magical, but you don't actually have any power. Maybe you wanted to show the superiority of physical might instead?
