Wei Yu was always passionated with abjuration, she always found the shield spell relatively useless when compared to the mage armor spell. Her attempts at improving the spell with her own personal touch did paid off in the end.
Wei Yu's Water Shield surround the caster by countless drops of water. The drops collect together forming a dense, thick water shield to stop any incoming attacks. This spell provides a +4 shield bonus to AC and a +4 bonus on all saving throw against [fire] effects. Additionally whenever the caster is underwater it duration double (but may end as soon as the caster exit water if enough time passed).
Channel: Wei Yu's Water Shield can be channeled in the following ways.
- Greater: Change the target of the spell from "You" to "Target Creature" and the range change to "close".
- Greater: Change the +4 shield bonus to AC into a +4 deflection bonus.
