Gunslinger Scoundrel

Not all scoundrel smell like rose and blood, some smell like black powder and rose! The Gunslinger Scoundrel is a ranged variant of the Scoundrel, losing the ability fight effectively in melee in exchange for ranged ability. Their ability to use maneuvers is also reduced considerably, losing about half of their maneuvers known and access to many disciplines. In exchange they gain a higher HD, base attack bonus and some additional special abilities and feat.

Class: Scoundrel

Level: 1st-20th

Replaces: BAB, Poison Use, Death Attack, Maneuvers, Weapon Finesse, Swift Death

Benefit: A Gunslinger Scoundrel possess a d10 instead of a d8, full-base attack bonus (as a Fighter), she is also proficient with all martial firearms and one exotic firearm of her choice and gain the following class features:

Maneuvers: A Gunslinger Scoundrel only has access to the Black Rain discipline and her specialized maneuvers. She only start with four maneuvers known, and gain one additional maneuver known at each odd level. This does not affect the learning rate of her Specialized Maneuvers. On the flip side her mechanic recovery change, once per round she can refresh a single maneuver as a free action as long as it was not expended last round, she may not use the refreshed maneuver until the start of her next turn.

Desperado: A 1st level Gunslinger Scoundrel gain the Quick Draw and Point Blank Shot feat as a bonus feat. She count her Scoundrel level as Fighter level but only for the purpose of qualifying for feat which affect her firearms (like Weapon Specialization).

Bonus Feat: At 3rd level and each 3 level thereafter the Gunslinger Scoundrel gain a bonus feat she meet the prerequisites for from the following list: Aim through Cloud, Aiming, Broad Practice, Endurance, Fixed Aim, Improved Aiming, Improved Critical (Any Firearms), Greater Weapon Focus, Greater Weapon Specialization, Manyshot, Piercing Shot, Precise Shot, Ranged Flanking, Ranged Tactician, Ranged Threat, Rapid Shot, Rapid Reload, Weapon Focus (Any Firearms), Weapon Specialization (any Firearms) or any feat which replace one of those.

Lined Shot (Ex): A 7th level Scoundrel gain the ability to observe one of her foe as a move action, she may not use this ability if she attacked that turn. The target must stay within her line of sight until the start of the gunslinger's next turn and the gunslinger may not attack while observing otherwise the action is spoiled. Starting from the start of your next turn, the target is flat-footed against your next ranged attack and you do not automatically miss it on a natural 1. This benefit last until expended or until you lose sight of the creature.
