Persecuted Witch

Some societies forbid and punish witchcraft, or even arcane casters as a whole. You are either from such society, or are descendants of a tradition that hailed from one. You do not rely on a familiar as a link to your patron, instead drawing power directly. You were also trained in the art of silent casting, to avoid being caught and victimized.

Class: Witch

Level: 1st-20th

Replaces: Familiar

Benefit: A persecuted witch does not have a familiar. In order to prepare her spells, a persecuted witch communes with her patron in silent whispers, usually done in complete privacy. The process is otherwise the same as preparing spells by communing with her familiar. A persecuted witch add spells to herself the same way she add spells to her familiar, she can teach another familiar her spells or be taught spells from a familia.

A 1st level persecuted witch gain Silent Spell as a bonus feat.
