The War of the Lance surrounds the return of the gods to Krynn following the Cataclysm. The War of the Lance is the first sighting of Dragons since the Cataclysm, along with Theros Ironfield forging the first new Dragonlances since the Cataclysm.
The events of the War of the Lance are covered in the Dragonlance Chronicles novel trilogy by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.
